What you see in a 30 second image:
It always amazes me how much detail can be seen in a 30 second image taken
with a CCD camera.Here are some examples of how much deatail is visible in a
14 inch telescope at f/6.3 using a Sbig ST10Me CCD camera.
Here is an excellent example of the detail visible in a 30 second image taken by Greg of NGC6215.
