BOSS-Backyard Observatory Supernova Search

SN2011iv in NGC1404

On the 02/12/2011 Stu Discovered a very bright 12 mag supernova in NGC1404.With quick thinking from Colin who got a conformation image using SLOOH Telescope with in hours.The report was done and the new supernova was announced.This was to be one of the most important discoveries to date for the group.
